Flagstaff, AZ
Phoenix will always hold a special place in my heart. It's where Matt and I met and fell in love. It represents the only time I came close to living on the west coast, it is still the home to some of my most loved friends, and is just an all around cool city. Equally as cool but otherwise totally different, is Flagstaff, AZ. Since the city is only a few hours drive from Phoenix, we periodically hopped in the car and drove to the mountains for some greenery, outdoor activity, and a break from the heat. The brother of one of my lifelong best friends lives in Flagstaff so one weekend she stayed with me in Phoenix before we drove up to Flagstaff so she could spend some time with her sibling. I tagged along for a hike and was inspired, once again, by the beauty of Arizona.
