Touchdown Jesus & Fall Foliage
We have the best friends, who are always trying to help me accomplish my goal of visiting all 50 states. A few years back, a United coworker invited me to a football game in South Bend, Indiana. Not only was I able to cross Indiana off my list of states, but I was able experience the pomp and circumstance of a Notre Dame football game. I experienced the pageantry of Notre Dame again, when the same coworker invited me as his guest to the wedding of an old ND classmate, who was getting married in the school's famed cathedral.
Ray attended Notre Dame for undergrad and often ventured from Chicago to South Bend to enjoy a football weekend. More often than I would expect, he also ventured back to his alma mater to attend a wedding. For many students who meet and fall in love at Notre Dame, the wedding of their dreams takes place in the world famous Basilica of the Sacred Heart. Whether touring around the campus, attending a football game, or accompanying a friend to a wedding, Notre Dame is hopping during the picturesque Autumn months.
