Stagecoach

A Stagecoach through the Coachella Valley

Every April, for as long as I can remember, I've been flying West to visit my friends Sean & Tara to spend one weekend a year, as a diehard country music fan.  My Cali friends are lovers of country's twang and after convincing me to come out to Stagecoach one year, I have been back every year since.  We missed the last few due to their new baby and then the Covid-19 pandemic, but I'm looking forward to meeting their now toddler and singing along again with country music's best.  Here's a look back at Stagecoach through the years.  Thanks for letting me reminisce on the good ole days.

Wikipedia lists the lineups for each year, but highlights for me included seeing Lynyrd Skynyrd sing Sweet Home Alabama, watching the cast of Nashville rock out (and then hugging Sam Palladio aka Gunnar Scott), when Snoop Dogg came on stage with some country legend I can't remember, Carrie Underwood bringing down the house multiple years, and Keith Urban coming into the audience right next to us the year we sat in VIP.  Matt started joining me on the trip in 2015 and even though he doesn't know (or really like) a single country music song, he still has a blast thanks to the perfect weather and festive atmosphere.  Counting down the days when we can attend festivals once again.
