The Dilly Club
Every single detail at The Atlantis resort was magical, but the sweetest little spot in all of Paradise Island, is the coffee shop/cocktail bar, The Dilly Club. Walking up to the storefront gives mega first impressions with the fuchsia walls and turquoise shutters. There is ample seating on the front porch with basket weave chairs and petite white tables. To keep cool there are overhead fans the create a breeze and ric rac umbrellas to shade from the sun. While the outside showcases it's Caribbean roots, it's the inside decor that really steals the show.
The senses are assaulted immediately upon entering the homey shop. Plush velvet couches, rattan tables and chairs, bold bright wallpaper, whimsical painting and light fixtures, and a plethora of plants give the eye a million different places to land. Picking a seat is difficult as every corner looks cozy and inviting. We visited mid-afternoon, just past the coffee rush and before the cocktail rush began. We sipped inventive lattes and were able to photograph every precious corner. We were headed to the airport shortly, but had plenty of time to dilly dally.
A little boho Caribbean paradise on Paradise Island.
