One of the highlights of my job are the consistent trips back to Chicago. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love the city. Most often I stay in a hotel downtown to be close to the office, and it's been fun to explore the loop early in the morning since I never had such an experience when I lived in the more northern neighborhoods.
While I often spent morning along Lake Michigan at the Belmont and Diversity harbors, it is a nice change to be able to meander through Millenium Park and see the lake from a more southern vantage point. On a super hot morning last June, I woke up with the sun and got my nature fix early in the morning.
