The fragrance garden at Brooklyn Botanic Garden is at it's best in the middle of the summer when the herbs are lush and there is so much to touch and smell. Nothing makes me want my own kitchen garden more. But those very first few weeks of Spring are pretty magical when the hyacinth have burst from the ground, the tulips are just ready to pop and everything is bright and clean. It reminds me of Easter and all the rebirth that happens this time of year.
See you in a couple weeks when the tulips are in peak bloom!
