a canopy of blooms in Central Park

The end of April in NYC is a visual masterpiece.  Between the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Central Park, I am off exploring every single spare moment of the month.  There are so many pockets of beauty and I want to be immersed in as many of them as possible.  A true standout in all this beauty, is kwanzan cherry blossom season along the bridle path on the west side of the Central Park reservoir.  People picnic under the falling blossoms and travelers wander under the canopy of color.  Whether you walk through quickly on your way to other parts of the park, or you set up camp for a day of friends and relaxation, it's a magical scene that should not be missed.
