There is something so beautiful about climbing plants and how they wind and drape over wooden structures. I love climbing roses over an arched trellis and ivy snaking its way up the side of the Wrigley Field bleachers. But for a couple weeks each Spring, I really enjoy the sight of bright purple wisteria winding around a wooden pergola and then draping it's pedals through each slit in the roof. Pair that beauty with the hot pink azalea in full bloom, and the Osborne Garden at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden is picture perfect. Just make sure you're wearing your sunglasses!
