mid-summer in the conservatory garden

One of the best gardens in all of NYC is at the tippy top of Central Park.  Because it takes me a good hour+ to visit, I don't spend nearly as much time in the Conservatory Garden and I would like.  Every time I visit, no matter the season, the garden is lush and vibrant and a pure joy to witness.  Here is the English Garden in it's midsummer dream.

In April the English Garden is awash in pink thanks to magnolia blossoms.  In May, the garden is flooded in purple with lilac bushes surrounding the English Garden and the Wisteria Pergola in the Italian Garden.  The Fall provides all colors of the rainbow when the mums are in bloom in the French Garden.  Plan a trip for any season and you'll be sure to see beauty everywhere.
