atlantis: The Cove

In the winter of 2025, we headed back to the Bahamas to spend another long weekend at The Atlantis.  The island and the property have become one of our go-to cold month destinations, thanks to the quick flight and the plethora of things to do at the resort.  This time around, we made The Cove our homebase and had a slightly different experience than our stay at The Royal.

For our second trip to The Atlantis, we ate at a few of our favorite restaurants (Fish, Nobu), walked The Dig, and snapped a picture at the most photo-worthy locations, just like our first visit.  I haven't shared all of those same images over again, but you can see every square inch of the property in my posts from last year's vacation (day 1, day 2, day 3).  I'm sharing a couple favorites from around the island, but we mostly spent our time relaxing at the adult only pool at The Cove (18 and over guests of The Cove only) or walking the beach at sunset.  Friday and Sunday were relaxing and quiet at the pool, but Saturday was more upbeat with numerous 21st birthday parties occuring and even a Simone Biles sighting (she lounged all afternoon across the pool from us!).

Checking out a new restaurant:  Paranza.  Italian meets Californian from Michelin Star and James Beard nominated chef Michael White.
